punkzappa asked: Not everyone’s good at remembering dates and numbers at all, and if I were asked, I would’ve gone blank, too. Pero may alam naman ako tungkol sa EDSA I & II. Nasa phrasing rin ng question, at siguro hindi lahat ng tao sa show ay totally ignorant per se. :D Pero I do concede na maraming ibang instances kung saan ignoramus talaga. Is it possibly a result of compensating for an inadequate education, considering the state of majority of schools here?
I agree! And that is why we all have to also learn to accept in all humility, our ignorance of certain things. And from that ignorance, we should have the drive to search for answers.
Yes, it is possible that inadequate education may also be contributory to the ignorance of a few. But I think it should not stop us from learning more about the things around us, our past and our people.
How ignorance is addressed can spell the difference between remaining ignorant and gaining knowledge. Admission of ignorance is the first step in overcoming it. As Socrates once said “I know that I know nothing.”
