Exactly! The problem with some members of the legal profession in our country (and even those who are still studying to become members) is that they relish the thought of knowing things they believe non-lawyers would not understand. They like to mystify the mere mortal in provisions of law, Latin words and phrases and procedural matters, just so they could preserve the “sanctity” of the profession. Odd that they should do that considering that they are bound by duty to aid in the speedy dispensation of justice to the ordinary citizen.
